The Justice Project:
Overview:
In this project we dove into the world of injustices in our country, covering texts like "The Land Ethic" by Aldo Leopold ", "The Complexity of Oil and Gas in the Greater Chaco Area", as well as films such as "Beyond Standing rock" and "True Justice: Bryan Stevenson's Fight for equality." We built knowledge on the injustices that were happening all around us, building our own philosophies on how we believe these injustices should be solved. These beliefs were portrayed in in our Justice Monologues. The first Monologue were written through the prompts of "What is Justice? What is Injustice?" , and "Explore the relationship between Justice and one or more of these ideals: Truth, Freedom, Equality, and/or Forgiveness." The second monologue was to answer the prompt, " What is the most just way to balance our energy and economic needs, human and environmental health, and protection of sacred lands." After we wrote our monologues and had developed our own ideas of injustice, we were to pick an injustice of our choice and create and action project on it.

Final Justice Project:
Jack and I worked together on the Pillage at Wolf Creek Ski Area. I designed one logo for the sticker, being Jesus keeps Wolfy Wild. We wanted to create a bumper sticker that was different than the original “No Pillage At Wolf Creek.” The Jesus Keeps Wolfy Wild is a goofier direction but people will still love the idea behind it. Once we got our stickers, jack and I did equal work buying t-shirts and creating a graphic (design, cutting stencils, and printing). On the front of the T-shirt, it says “What would Jesus do?”. On the back, it says “Keep Wolf Creek Wild” and the word pillage with a cancel sign over it.
