Collage/Moge Poge/Paint on Skateboard
I've always been super passionate about making collages, and when I got angry and snapped my board I got an idea. I was inspired to take my collages to a different medium besides paper. I chose to make the theme of my collages flowers and people because I really like having people be the main attraction in my collages. And I just thought about how well the flowers would blend together with the people. And I chose to do small paintings because I wanted to add a little abstract flair to my art.

Watercolor and Paint Pen on Paper
Throughout the time that I was working on this piece, I grew to dislike watercolor very much. I drew my picture out in pencil, and I really liked how it looked. But as soon as I touched watercolor to the paper, it kind of ruined it. It was really hard to work with because for me, it was very difficult to add detail with water that spreads everywhere. If I was to do this piece over again, I would try to take my time and add detail more than I did before.

Oil Pastel/Colored Pencil on Paper
I enjoyed working on this piece because I was able to connect my passion for skating with my passion for art. The mix of oil pastels and colored pencil was good for me personally because it was hard to do fine detail with the oil pastels. So I did most of the detail with the colored pencil. If I was to do this piece over again I would probably just add more shadows to make things pop more.
